One of my favorite opportunities as a photographer has been getting to take photos at our local WTHJA (West Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association) horse shows. I’ve been doing it for about a year now and have enjoyed every minute of it! And am continuously learning the art of sport photography. I used to compete at these same show grounds when I was in high school - and now years later, I get to help capture this beautiful sport and also watch my younger sister develop as a competitor too. There is just something about an athletic horse that is so captivating. Below are some favorite shots from past shows - enjoy!
